A.J. Holmes (Book of Mormon, South Park, StarKid) and Caitlin Cook (Sirius XM, Good God, All Things Comedy) invite you to celebrate Fake Birthday, an evening of music, comedy, and musical comedy.
A.J. Holmes’ career has taken him all over the world! He is best known for playing Elder Cunningham in The Book of Mormon in the Broadway, Chicago, 1st US National Tour, West End, and Australian companies. A founding member of Team StarKid, AJ co-wrote the music and lyrics of A Very Potter Musical with Darren Criss and composed the widely-popular Twisted: The Untold Story of a Royal Vizier. His solo one man show Yeah, But Not Right Now has sold out the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019, and the Adelaide Fringe in 2020.
Caitlin Cook is a LA-born, NYC-based comedian. Not your conventional stand-up, Caitlin Cook combines witty one-liners and scintillating storytelling with hilariously irreverent musical comedy and projected visuals. She has taken the stage all across the US, Canada, Europe, and Oceania at top-tier venues (Union Hall in Brooklyn, the Lyric Hyperion in Los Angeles, and the Bill Murray in London), comedy clubs (the Stand Comedy Club in New York, ACME in Minneapolis, and Comedy Works in Denver), festivals (like the New York Comedy Festival, HBO’s Women in Comedy Festival, and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe), theatres (like the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, Webster Hall in New York, and the Throckmorton in the Bay Area), dimly lit bar basements, strangers’ living rooms, and even a houseboat once.
