Reception with live jazz! Wayne Tucker and his band will play amidst paintings by Jo-Ann Acey, Demarcus McGaughey and Michael James Freedman

Littlefield is an all-vaccinated event space. All patrons attending must show proof of vaccination for entry.

Rebirth:Brooklyn is Why Not Art’s first pop-up show — a group exhibition showcasing 3 Gowanus-based artists (Jo-Ann Acey, Michael James Freedman and Demarcus McGaughey). The artists’ diverse styles of painting all capture the feeling of change and hope in the air. Jazz is flowing through the streets, creativity is flourishing, social awareness is rising and people are emerging after months of uncertainty, tragedy, and protest. Artworks in the show burst with life, reflecting our exhilarating re-entry into vibrant city life.

Wayne Tucker and his band will be playing live jazz during the reception on November 7 from 3 to 6pm. Follow @whynotartnyc and for details.
